What we collect

Your email address, if you give it to us to join the waitlist or to contact us. The answers you enter into the filing tool, which are the facts used to generate your documents. Basic usage analytics through Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site.

The free tools, including the child support calculator, the custody schedule calendar, and the courthouse finder, run in your browser and do not require an account. What you type into them is not sent to us as case information.

How we use it

We use your answers to generate your documents and to let you come back and finish them. We use your email to send you service messages about your documents, launch and availability updates, and replies to messages you send us. We use analytics to understand which pages and tools people find useful so we can improve them.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your case information with anyone without your instruction, except to the service providers who help us run the product, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and the AI model provider that drafts your documents. Those providers are permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Security

Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit, and case information you enter into the filing tool is stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that a breach will never happen.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage for things like keeping you signed in, remembering your progress, and Google Analytics measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the site.

Deletion and access

Email us and we will delete your account, your answers, and your generated documents, or send you a copy of what we hold. We will confirm when it is done. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Children

Onbello is for adults handling their own family law matter. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the last updated date above.
